Pay: $16.00 - $17.00

Hours: Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00 - 5:30. This position will be 4 days a week with 10 hour shifts.

Job Description:

World Of Knowledge Child Development Center Inc is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Infant teacher to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm and caring environment for all age groups to explore, learn, and develop essential skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and secure environment for Infants 6 weeks to 12 months, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early learning and socialization.
  • Engage in play and interactive age appropriate activities to encourage their cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with the team members to create and maintain an organized and visually stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining learning materials and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the classroom and play areas.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
  • Knowledge of child development and understanding of age related milestones.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patient, compassionate, and calm demeanor.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs within the center.
